The Diabetes Insipidus Foundation's
Third Annual Conference - Chicago, Illinois
Best Western Inn of Chicago
August 12, 2006

Come early and warm up to Chicago! The city's average temperature in August is in the 80's.

DiF's 3rd Annual Conference will be held August 12th in Chicago, at the Best Western Inn of Chicago. The conference will be packed with information, opportunities for families to meet, roundtable discussions, and babysitting available for families with small children during the meeting. Once again we are honored to have Dr. Gary Robertson as the keynote speaker. Dr. Robertson is a world-renowned expert on DI and the chair of DiF's Scientific Advisory Committee. He is often referred to as Dr. DI, what he doesn't know about DI isn't known anywhere.

Although meals are "on your own," we encourage conference attendees to go together to eat and continue their sharing with each other.

Chicago offers so much to see and do - you will be hard pressed to visit all that interests you and your family. Come before and/or stay after the conference and enjoy what Chicago has to offer. There is the John G. Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago Botanic Garden (in nearby Glencoe), the Hancock Observatory in the John Hancock building with a view from the 94th floor, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Chicago Children's Museum, The Sears Tower, and much more. Of course, no trip to Chicago is complete without a view of beautiful Lake Michigan with restaurants, retail shops, miniature golf, I-MAX theater, and much more. For night-life in Chicago there is music, comedy clubs, fabulous dining, and dance clubs.

Baseball fan? Attend the World Champion White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers Weekend series (secure tickets on line).
